Manon, Development Engineer

I joined Max Sauer in 2021 as a Development Engineer specializing in cosmetic brushes, following an initial experience in plastic injection molding for lipstick caps. I’ve always been drawn to the beauty and luxury industry, so joining this world felt like a natural fit.

From the moment I arrived, I was fascinated by the artisanal craftsmanship behind every brush head. Many people underestimate the technical complexity of the process, from lacquering the handles and shaping the ferrules to marking and assembling the final product. Each step requires precision and care.

What I enjoy most about my role is the variety of projects and the diversity of people I collaborate with: clients, suppliers, production teams, quality control, and more. Every project is different and calls for a tailored development approach based on the client’s specific needs. Seeing a brush I helped bring to life finally reach the market is always a rewarding moment.

My role at the company is to meet client expectations as closely as possible by developing smart, practical solutions that allow their brush designs to be successfully industrialized.
