Aruna, Quality and R&D Manager

I began my career in 2001 as a Quality Agent in a textile factory after completing engineering studies in the same field. That experience sparked my passion for quality and led me to deepen my expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Quality Management.

In 2008, I joined Max Sauer at the Mauritius site as Quality Manager. There, I discovered an authentic, hands-on world that fascinated me. I was impressed by the complexity of the specifications and the high level of quality required for each brush. Every product must be meticulously inspected for appearance and dimensions, and undergo a series of tests, including pull tests, transportation tests, bleeding tests, bulk tests, and more. Despite the largely manual process, I quickly saw that the standards we meet are equivalent to those of industrial production.

In the years that followed, I supported the company in its continuous improvement efforts and in adapting to evolving client requirements. During that time, we implemented a robust Quality Management System to ensure the consistent quality of both our products and our services.

One aspect that is especially important to me is team support. I have worked to develop the autonomy and technical skills of our teams, because effective quality management depends above all on individual engagement and a shared sense of responsibility.

Today, I lead the Research and Development department, a new and exciting challenge. My goal is to help our teams anticipate the evolving needs of the cosmetics industry and continue innovating with confidence.

My work is more than just a job. It is a true passion.
